Bait was double white maggot on a size 14 Drennan Super Specialist hook and I loose fed mixed maggots.
I did catch roach, as I’ve already mentioned. Nothing big but an enjoyable session.
I saw a grey wagtail in flight across the pool, watched a pair of long-tailed tits in the immediate area and listened to a stock dove in the surrounding woodland.
