Released in 1937, Passenger To London is a British spy thriller made at Fox Studios, Wembley.
Frank Dayton (played by John Warwick) and Sir Donald Frame (Nigel Barrie) work for the British government and, following the murder of an agent in Europe, they are charged with retrieving a vital blueprint.
It’s with an innocent girl, Barbara Lane, (played by Jenny Laird), who is also being tracked by two French spies.
The British win in the end and Frank Dayton asks Barbara Lane to marry him.
She kisses him and that’s how it ends. A happy ending.
