A 1960 colour Disney movie, Swiss Family Robinson tells the story of a family on a journey to start a new life, when they get shipwrecked on an island.
They adapt very well, as they make the most of everything while hoping to be rescued.
They manage to stay one step ahead of pirates before eventually it all comes good at the end.
A classic film that I’ve seen many times before and it was certainly appealing to the adventurous spirit that still prevailed in those days when it was first released.
I think it still does today, as well.
You have to remind yourself that the film is 62 years of age.
