Before I did go to bed, my wife and I (she was still up when I got back) did our monthly Premium Bonds draw reveal.
I went first and got the ‘better luck next time’ or whatever the message is on the screen.
My wife, however, had the lady drinking the glass of champagne image appear.
She had three prizes, 1x £50 and 2x £25.
She joked that her Bible verse for the day was from Jeremiah, “I have plans to prosper you.”
I replied, also jokingly, that I had it as well (we use the same Bible app) but it didn’t work for me.
