As always, prior to the game itself I wrote the match preview and did the press conference with Craig Harrison at Park Hall, as we looked ahead to Airbus UK Broughton v The New Saints.
With the game on the final day of the year, it was a convenient 2.30 p.m. Saturday kick-off.
The traffic was light and it was a very pleasant journey both there and back.
