The movie starts with Bob Hope on death row facing execution.
On the surface, hardly the background for a comedy.
However, it all fits in nicely with the story.
There are some very good characters in the film but it’s Bob Hope who drives it.
Talking of driving, he even gets to play his beloved golf in the film.
