The fish were still there and this time I captured footage of them, which you can see in the accompanying video.
The water was crystal clear and only a few feet deep, due to it being full of leaves, and probably silt as well below the vegetation
Still, the fish obliged and that was the important thing.
I lost count of the roach that I caught in the couple of hours I was there.
Fishing was difficult though, as the rod rings were constantly freezing.
