Following the final whistle, with the car already loaded, I set off for a couple of hours fishing on a pool.
With it being a very wet and overcast day – plus twenty-four minutes of additional time – my session was considerably less than planned.
As opposed to the morning’s float gear, this time I went for a leger approach with a grain of corn over loose corn.
I fished in the centre of the venue, which is only small anyway, and I know that it’s relatively weed-free, so no issues there as far as presentation was concerned.
