Apart from driving through the town earlier this year on my way to a groundhopping game, it’s been many years since I spent time proper in Beaumaris.
It was when my two daughters were still at home and we had a family holiday on Anglesey.
Therefore, it was nice to go back again.
Situated on the south-east tip of the island, it is only twenty-five miles from Trearddur Bay, at the opposite north-west side.
Combined with most of the journey being on the A55, and Anglesey being sparsely populated, it’s a very quick route.
