The storm before the calm – Rock fishing on Anglesey

No fishing yesterday due to the weather.

With winds in excess of forty miles per hour, not only was safety an issue but my method of float fishing from rocks wouldn’t have been possible.

Access, combined with waves crashing into the rocks, meant that I couldn’t have presented a bait effectively.

However, what a difference a day makes, as today it’s very different indeed.

Although there’s still waves, as opposed to a totally flat sea, nevertheless fishing was no issue as far as safety and presentation were concerned.
