I usually get a very good night’s sleep, but on this occasion I was up very early, after a bad dream.
I then decided, as I was wide awake, to go fishing.
Plus, it helped to beat the heat which is peaking in the thirties at the moment.
I fished a section of canal close to a lock, well before I expected to see a boat.
I caught several decent fish, as you can see from the video, in my all-perch catch.
