After yesterday’s working football game, I didn’t get home until late and, by the time I finished the post-match stuff, it was the early hours.
Therefore, no fishing at first thing, as I often do.
With it being a really hot day, I waited until the evening before casting a line.
I headed for the Staffordshire/Worcestershire Canal and set up in the long grass alongside the water.
It looked like not many anglers have been in that particular area for a while.
