Brook angling session, pioneering and I thought I’d hit gold

I enjoyed the opening day of the ‘river season’ as I targeted three-spined sticklebacks on a tiny waterway.

So much so, that my second outing was again on a brook after the same species.

As far as blog statistics are concerned, I get significantly more views when I’m after carp as opposed to the mini-species.

Where I go, what I target and which method I fish with, however, are all determined ultimately by what I fancy doing.
