I Should Have Been Working At An International Game, Instead I Watched Llangefni Town Reserves…

With football at The New Saints being an eleven-month season, invariably I plan my holidays around games.

That’s why I booked this week on Anglesey because Wales C were playing England C at Caernarfon.

I applied for my media accreditation with the Football Association of Wales well in advance, as The New Saints had three players in the squad.

I didn’t hear back though until four hours before kick-off. By the time I checked my emails, it was too late to get there anyway, with just thirty minutes to go.

Assuming (as you would reasonably do by the lunchtime of the game) that I hadn’t been given accreditation, I had planned to visit Llangefni Town Reserves v Holyhead Hotspur Reserves instead.
