By far the largest population on Anglesey is Holyhead. The only settlement in five figures (c.14,000), Caergybi, as it is known in Welsh, is on the north-west coast.
We’ve visited Holyhead a lot over the years and, staying in nearby Trearddur Bay, we added another visit to the list this time round.
We walked along the harbour area, which is always nice, even when it’s cold and windy like today.
Then we went to the Breakwater Country Park. Away from the wind it was very pleasant.
