Overnight Frost, Just Thirty Minutes To Fish… As Long As Your Bait’s In The Water Though…

This time yesterday we were experiencing a storm, with extremely strong winds.

Today, it was still and calm. What a difference a day makes.

It was frosty though and I was scraping ice off the car before I left the drive.

I knew it would be tough but I was thrilled to catch.

I only had thirty minutes but as I often say, as long as your bait’s in the water you’ve got a chance.

As well as fishing, there’s also something in the video on the website address change for my blog that has come into being this week.

The tackle I fished with was as follows:

Fox Rage Ultron drop shot rod, Fox Rage Ultron 2500 reel, 10lb Sunline braid on reel.

Drennan Double Strength 12lb (1.5 metres) joined to the braid with a small swivel.

Micro jig head 0.7g size 6 hook. Glider 2 inch rubber fish. All knots (3) blood knots.
