Movie Night… With Bela Lugosi And The Insane And Domineering Wife

With another free evening, my wife and I decided to watch a movie together.

This time it was from a DVD and another old one, 1941 to be precise.

I do like Bela Lugosi and although it is a horror film, Invisible Ghost is nothing like its modern counterparts, which I don’t watch.

In fact, it’s not frightening at all, although maybe the original viewers may have found it so.

The plot features Lugosi as Dr. Kessler, who is put into a trance by his ‘insane and domineering wife’ who gets him to then strangle people.

All of the actors in the film have long since passed on and several of them were born in the nineteenth century.
