With a free evening, my wife and I decided to watch another movie together.
The one that caught our eye was Citizen Kane, which is currently on the BBC iPlayer.
It’s a 1941 release, and when you think that ‘talkies’ only came on the scene in the late twenties, it’s still infancy period in many ways.
In fact, it was Orson Welles’ first feature film. He also played the lead character.
It’s considered by many to be the greatest movie ever.
It’s all about opinion, of course, and although on a personal level I’m not so sure, I’d love to hear your thoughts in the comments box below.
I thought the ending was great though, as it brings everything together.
I won’t spoil it if you haven’t seen it, but it does give an insight into life and what’s really important.
