Dry Net But Tight Lines After The Welsh League Cup Final

Usually after church on Sundays I’m on my way fishing fairly quickly.

Today though, the Nathaniel MG Cup (Welsh League Cup) was live on S4C, so I stayed in to watch that.

It meant I had about twenty minutes fishing time.

Although I didn’t need the landing net, my line was tight, so happy with that

This is where lure fishing comes into its own.

Time is tight but you travel light and are fishing within seconds of arriving at the water’s edge.

I was mini-jigging and the tackle fished with is listed below.

In addition, at the base of the page, is a comments box.

I thought I’d give it a go, to see if it’s worthwhile having it as a regular feature.

You don’t need to register, just write a message and submit.

Check the box though if you want to follow the thread.

I look forward to hearing from you.

The tackle I fished with was as follows: Fox Rage Ultron drop shot rod, Fox Rage Ultron 2500 reel, 10lb Sunline braid on reel.

Drennan Double Strength 10lb (1.5 metres) joined to the braid with a small swivel.

Micro jig head 0.7g size 6 hook. Glider 2 inch rubber fish. All knots (3) blood knots.
