I had been to six games between Penybont and The New Saints prior to this one, and with three at Park Hall and three at SDM Glass Stadium, the latter had won all of them.
The sequence was broken this time round though, as the game ended 1-1.
It could have been worse, because it was only a Declan McManus equaliser in the final ten minutes that rescued a point.
The New Saints still leads the way though at the top of the JD Cymru Premier. It’s just the one point now, however, with Flint Town United in second place.
