Since I dug the pond earlier in the year, it’s been great to watch it mature. In particular, it was built to encourage wildlife, especially amphibians.
It’s very clear, and the smooth newts have been easy to spot, once they move around.
This afternoon, I’ve been watching a female laying eggs, and when I stepped back I could see in more detail with my binoculars.
