Like many others, I’m looking forward to the Euro 2020 final tomorrow between England and Italy.
With three home nations – England, Scotland and Wales – having qualified, I’ve been supporting all of them.
Although I don’t have any Scottish heritage – I do for the other two though – as a supporter of the union, I want all our nations to do well.
For now though it’s all about England, the land of my birth. I’m very proud to be English.
I’m also old enough to remember watching the 1966 World Cup final on television and there are memories of that in the footage I recorded.
