Although it was a friendly, nevertheless without doubt, The New Saints’ head coach would have preferred a win rather than the 2-1 defeat.
Especially so when you consider the next game is the first competitive one of the new season, when we travel to Belfast to take on Glentoran FC.
Back to Marston Road though, we set up on the pitch after the game had ended, as we chatted about the ninety minutes just gone, as well as looking ahead.
