It’s Still Behind-Closed-Doors In Wales, As The New Saints Beat Cardiff Met FC 2-0

Although top-flight football in Wales is underway, nevertheless it’s all played out with no fans present at the moment.

The New Saints’ first home game in the JD Cymru Premier since March this year, saw a goal in each half, as Cardiff Metropolitan University FC were defeated 2-0.

The third league strike for Adrian Cieslewicz, and an own goal, ensured three points, as TNS went to the top of the table.

Although it’s early days, of course, after just a couple of games played, there’s already a two-point gap. TNS’ goal difference is also greater than the other clubs with a plus figure combined.

This was my sixteenth game of the season so far and you can view the others from 2020/2021 that all have accompanying blog entries.

There’s another Welsh league match this coming weekend, in the meantime I’ll be looking to do a new ground over the next few days.
