Perch And Ruffe On The Staffs/Worcs Canal… Thrilled To Spot A Water Vole…

Although static, I saw the following birds in the two hours on the bank: moorhen, wood pigeon, swallow, house martin, lesser black-backed gull, carrion crow, song thrush, blackbird, magpie, house sparrow, mallard, great tit, jackdaw.

The highlight, as far as the natural world was concerned though, was a water vole. Again, more of that in the video.
