In Aberystwyth for the FAW Youth Cup semi-final game between Barry Town United and The New Saints FC, we made good time on the team bus from Park Hall, arriving nice and early at the Park Avenue ground.
As a result, we went for a walk around the town, that also took in the sea front. Courtesy of football, I have visited Aberystwyth on numerous occasions, but this was the first time that I actually made it to the sea.
In all fairness though, I am there to work not as a tourist, so I’m not complaining. It was just nice to have finally got there, that’s all. Oh, I do like to be beside the seaside. Indeed.
