🎣 Fishing | On the River Severn with five species on the bank, including one I’ve never caught from there before

Today is the start of a four-day hot spell and, with temperatures in the thirties, it was indeed a Monday worthy of the title of heatwave. However, whatever the conditions, the fishing continues.

I drove 13.2 miles to the middle reaches of the River Severn and fished double-maggot using a cage feeder approach. The tackle used can be viewed via the video.

I caught five species of fish: chub, dace, gudgeon, perch and rudd. I’ve never caught a rudd from the middle Severn before. To think I didn’t even catch a roach either. Visit the home page.
