🎣 Angling | Fishing in Storm No-Name
We’ve been without a washing machine for a week but this morning that was sorted. They delivered quite early – 7.00 a.m. to be precise – and so, making sure I was there when they arrived, it meant no morning fishing.
I was out in the afternoon though and it was certainly a day of two halves. The bright and sunny start to Wednesday was replaced by gusty wind and heavy rain.
Actually, I don’t mind a session under the umbrella, plus the adverse weather keeps the general public away. In particular, the ones who throw sticks in the water for their dogs to go after.
On a small venue, it becomes more of an issue. Mind you, there was a cormorant on there when I arrived. They’re worse than swimming labradors. As for the session itself, I caught perch and roach in the couple of hours that I was there.
