🎣 Angling || Getting autumn underway fishing with prawn on the Staffordshire & Worcestershire Canal Although I didn’t get to bed until 1.30 a.m., I was still up and about four hours later, as I began September on the local canal. Fishing with prawn after perch, it was a successful session. more

🎣 Angling || New tripod and fishing with prawn on the Staffordshire & Worcestershire Canal For the second session on the bounce, I was on the local canal, targeting perch with prawn, albeit in a different location. My new tripod made its debut. more

🎣 Angling || Another prawn-on the-canal session and a different location I’ve still got maggots to use up, plus prawns as well – albeit the latter are fine because they are frozen after each session – so I returned to the Staffordshire & Worcestershire Canal. I fished a spot where I’ve struggled every time I’ve been there, although never blanked, and that was the case this time as well. more

🎣 Angling || A very short but very sweet fishing with prawn session on the Staffs & Worcs Canal After two just-over-the-line visits to the local canal, I was determined to right those wrongs. In about 2.5 hours I did just that. more

🎣 Angling || A very pleasant late afternoon on a huge reservoir My last fishing session was on a small pond, this time it was the opposite end of the spectrum, when I visited a large reservoir. My target was a large perch and, come the final whistle, it was a case of mission accomplished. more
