Early morning tench fishing and thoughts on losing fish — Too Many Crooks 1959 — The Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air 1992

Too Many Crooks is a British comedy film from 1959 and has a star-studded cast, featuring Bernard Bresslaw, George Cole, Sid James, John Le Mesurier, Nicholas Parsons, Terry Scott and Terry-Thomas.

The gang go through blunder after blunder, as they fail to make any sort of crime pay.

Playing Fingers, who is the leader, George Cole is excellent.

Then they plot to steal Terry-Thomas’ daughter, get his wife instead and find that he won’t pay a penny in ransom money.

It’s a way of getting rid of her because he’s after his secretary.

He’s also keeping hold of large amounts of cash, trying to avoid the tax man.

A brilliant film, really funny. I loved it.
