The penultimate angling session of the holiday — Angling-related litter, why do you do it? — A visit to South Stack

The penultimate angling session of the holiday

The tides were kind to me as far as the holiday fishing was concerned.

If I lived on Anglesey – which is a tempting thought – there would certainly be a lot more variety to my angling.

During the holiday though, I was focused on rock fishing at Trearddur Bay for the simple reason that I thoroughly enjoy watching a float when pursuing wrasse.

It was another scorcher of a day – we had bright sun throughout the week and not a single drop of rain – as I clambered across the rocks to once again pursue one of our most colourful fish species.

It was a very slow session though.

I often mention that it’s a fine line between ‘success’ and ‘failure’ and, once again, I was on the right side of the line.
