George And Mildred from 1980 is a spin-off from the television series of the same name (top right image).
Revolving around George Roper (Brian Murphy) and his wife, Mildred (Yootha Joyce), the movie is based on the couples’ wedding anniversary.
When they arrive at a posh London hotel for a break, George is mistaken for a hitman.
Then, there’s also another hitman, played by Kenneth Cope, looking to take out George, thinking he’s the original.
He keeps missing and shooting other people by mistake, leaving a trail of dead bodies in the hotel.
