Even A Thief Can Dream (bottom left image) is the 24th in the Turn Of Fate television short movies and is from 1958.
Charles Boyer plays Lemaire, who latches on to Evelyn (Bonnie Bolding) at the opera.
He is very pushy and goes to her home with her, where they encounter a burglar.
The intruder threatens to blackmail her because she’s with another man.
Then it turns out that Lemaire and the burglar are working together. Twist number one.
As they leave, Evelyn and her husband, who has just arrived, are revealed as the woman plant and a detective. Twist number two.
One of the most enjoyable in the series so far.
