Bream fishing on the canal, quality over quantity in the context of angling time and why are you on social media?

I’ve had a couple of decent (relatively speaking) bream from the canal recently while float fishing maggots.

As I’ve been using a quiver tip rod for the last two sessions, I decided to stick with that method and head for the Staffordshire/Worcestershire again.

The set-up was as per the two aforementioned trips, except I went for a 3.5g lead.

It was a very gentle flick into the boat channel and the weight was perfect.

Fishing over brown crumb and corn, the trap was set.
