I’m in the city of Swansea for a football-related overnighter ahead of The New Saints’ Welsh Cup and, as always, I went for a walk around the local area.
Staying in the Village Hotel, it’s pretty much a straight route along the river, through Little Wind Street and as far as the castle, which is where I walked.
Being a Friday night, the city centre was very busy.
As I walked I captured the route on video and as well as the new there’s lots of history in there as well.
That comes together perfectly in the lead image, with the BT building and the castle in the same shot.
The former was constructed in 1970, while the latter goes back to 1107.
