Not far from where we live, situated in the Staffordshire countryside between Gornal Wood and Himley, lies The Crooked House.
Built in 1765, it was originally a farmhouse before it became a public house, half a century later.
Crooked House by name, crooked house by nature.
Indeed.
The reason for its unusual appearance is mining subsidence and there is a swing of four feet from one side of the building to the other.
I have been there many years ago but I returned with my wife this afternoon.
We had coffee, and of course I did some filming there as well, the result of which you can watch below.
