I have raised the issue but it’s a day ticket venue and I think the idea that turning away anglers’ money is more of a factor than pike welfare.
I’ve also said that if you don’t protect the fish, there won’t be any day ticket money anyway as a result.
Anyway, I digress. For today’s session, I fished gudgeon and perch dead-baits.
I cast out to a clear area and threw balls of brown crumb there as well.
