Crosstrap, a low budget – but enjoyable – black and white movie from the year I was born

A 1962 crime movie, Crosstrap is a low budget black and white British production.

A married couple go to a remote house for a holiday and get caught up between two violent gangs.

It was forward for its time, in terms of violence, but it’s actually quite tame by today’s standards.

You see more violence in Heartbeat or Minder.

It’s hardly gory, and with the music constantly playing in the background it has the feel of an Avengers episode.
