Based on Ebenezer Scrooge, Carry On Christmas is a 1969 television special from the Carry On team.
It stars the likes of Charles Hawtrey, Hattie Jacques, Sid James and Barbara Windsor.
You can see, as the years passed, how the Carry On comedy became more suggestive.
It’s not for me at that point, although compared to what we have today it’s very tame indeed.
It’s one of the reasons why I like older movies.
