Garden nature diary – December 2022

December 1

A carrion crow sitting on the aerial of the bungalow next door first thing this morning, as I returned home after my run.

We do get them in the garden occasionally but they are quite wary, so to see one perched relatively close is always good.

Two greenfinches on the feeding station that were very young.

We’ve had an extended summer and they looked like they were products of a bonus clutch of birds.
