The film has an excellent storyline, which revolves around Simmons’ character and what turns out to be her extremely unstable issues.
Robert Mitchum gets drawn in totally innocently, to the extent where he is facing the gas chamber.
Both are acquitted and then you wonder what the twist is, as the film begins to draw to a conclusion.
Right at the end, all is revealed.
Brilliant movie, really enjoyed it.
