It took five starts before I finally got to watch Murder In Soho from start to finish and that’s explained in the accompanying video.
It’s a 1939 black and white British movie and it’s set mostly in a Soho club in London.
There is also footage from beyond the interior film set though and it’s great to see London in the thirties.
Very different to today.
Jack La Rue – who has a very impressive list of films to his name – plays a great part as club owner, Steve Marco.
