The second movie on the bounce was from 1953 and starred James Stewart, Joanne Dru, Roland Gilbert and Dan Duryea.
It was also the first non-western collaboration between James Stewart and director, Anthony Mann.
Reading the plot for Thunder Bay, like several films it didn’t sound very exciting, but once you watch you usually end up enjoying them to some degree.
While not making my top ten movies, that was certainly the case this time with the emphasis on ‘to some degree’.
It’s set (and filmed) in Louisiana and the year is 1946.
