There are also some huge Douglas firs in the area.
After our spell in the village, we headed along the A5 and stopped briefly in the Snowdonia area.
Betws-y-Coed is in the national park but the area I’ve labelled Snowdonia in the video, is very different.
Still just as beautiful though, perhaps even more?
The next stop was Bae Trearddur, home for the next week.
