Back to the holiday though and on the way there we stopped off at Betws-y-Coed and, to be even more specific, Pont-y-Pair.
That’s the bridge over the Afon Llugwy, just yards from the A5 itself.
There are a number of walks from the car park and we went on the one alongside the river.
Talking of the Llugwy, it’s very beautiful and with the noise of fast-flowing water makes for some great video footage.
Just downstream from Pont-y-Pair it joins the Conwy.
