Three interviews and two angling sessions but where does the one good day come from?
Surely a blank means it was anything but good?
Far from it.
If our happiness depends on that which we have no control over, then we’re at the mercy of externals.
Of course I want to catch fish but it was very pleasant sitting by the side of the rural Severn at the heart of the great outdoors.
It’s important in life to see the big picture and not just focus on one thing that didn’t work out the way we wanted.
Therefore, on that basis, it was a good day.
