The game itself got off to a great start, as far as The New Saints were concerned.
A superb free-kick from Chris Marriott in the fourth minute put the league leaders in the driving seat.
With further goals from Adam Wilson and Declan McManus, as we hit the two-thirds stage it was looking very comfortable.
However, with twenty minutes to go, the Silkmen were back in it after two goals from them meant it was definitely game on.
