What I did was change the jig-head to 0.4g with a smaller hook and lure.
It worked.
I concentrated on the margins, where the smaller perch can be found and, among the vegetation, I had action.
Sometimes I was dropping the bait into a tiny gap in the lilies and working it in the water.
It was more like dropshotting.
