A morning angling session and then home for the funeral of Queen Elizabeth II

It’s an unexpected Bank Holiday today, due to Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral.

It didn’t affect my angling plans, as a short session first thing this morning was what I had planned in advance.

Especially as it was mini-jigging, it was a very short one indeed.

That’s the beauty of that style of fishing, well, lure angling in general, as it fits the bill perfectly.

I had about forty minutes, working a small rubber fish on a 0.7g jig-head through the water on a pool.
