It was always my plan to go fishing twice today and, while the days are still long, it’s easy enough to fit in.
The nights are definitely drawing in though and even though we’re currently in a very warm spell of weather, the signs of autumn are there if you look.
I noticed this afternoon, looking across the valley where we live, some of the trees are beginning to take on their fall colours.
As far as life is concerned though – and that includes fishing – just get on with it.
